# Explorer Patcher for Windows (any/all versions) crashing on latest Win11

Explorer patcher is forcing Windows Explorer to hard crash. Even though, Valinet hasn’t discovered/found any solution to it, as reported by me and being disussed [here](https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/issues/1434). I’ve found a workaround or temporary solution to the problem:
## Workaround (cum another solution) for me
It seems that Explorer Patcher Ver 22621.1413.54.5 (Released on 21 Mar, 2023) has solved (almost?) all problems for me on Windows Ver 22H2 Build 22621.1778 . Just don’t update or downgrade from this version of EP.

I’m on 22H2 Build 22621.1992 and EP version 22621.4317.67.1 (same on v22621.1992.56.1), when I press Win+X \> Windows PowerShell (Admin). It’d work ok and PS-admin would appear.
But if pressed Win+x again, Windows exlorer would end and restart, also the Windows+x menu won’t appear.
I’ve tried it many many times and on the 2 said EP versions. The problem won’t surface if I chose any other option than 'PShell (Admin).
