“Adobe creative cloud, needed to resolve the problem. However this is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from Adobe.”

This is error I received while opening/running PhotoShop2020. Although photoshop ran ok, but everytime I had to click ‘Quit’ or ‘Repair’ on this dialogue.

Google sent me to articles, which asked me to download and install this Creative Cloud App from Adobe website, which I didn’t wish to do.

So I found, ultimately, a very simple solution. I went to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\ADS" and opened properties for this application/exe file lying there: “Adobe Desktop Service.exe”

In there I clicked on ‘Compatibility’ Tab\> Change Settings for All Users\> Run this program as an Administrator.

And my problem went away. Wow!!
