ਪਿਛਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੱਛ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਰਵੇਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ | ਅਤੇ

ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਪਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਜਰਿਆ ਅੱਜ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੜਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੈ | ਬਠਿੰਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਦਰਦ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ |

Acc to me, its main reason was illiteracy in Bathinda region, because of which people logged few complaints online.  
And now that it has gone a couple of steps down, its because people have started to make more online complaints, have become more IT savvy.  
And that’s one of the main point of ranking of cities across India.

चलो, पहले या तीसरे, कुछ तो हलचल हिल हुई। ऐसी रैंकिंग होना, और उसमें शामिल होना (वो भी टॉप टेन में) भी एक बड़ी बात समझता हूँ मैं।
